Kforce's client, a leading provider in the healthcare industry is seeking to hire a Senior Tax Manager or Director of Tax to join their company. They are based out of Boston, MA, but open to fully remote anywhere in the US. The Controller is a great mentor and creates a great culture. This is an individual contributor role and a great opportunity to make the tax department your own, figure things out, work through the weeds of things, while creating a broader strategy. Duties: * Senior Tax Manager will oversee the preparation and filing of all federal, state and local tax returns * Organize and manage legal filings and documents * Oversee the proper recording and reporting of M&A activities for tax purposes * Developing tax strategies * Provide guidance on tax-related matters * As a Senior Tax Manager or Director of Tax, you will prepare documentation and support for audits * Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the firm * Conduct research on complex tax issues
