Senior Tax Product Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Tax Product Manager

Principal responsibilities

Provide exceptional diligence, core industry and technical product and/or service delivery knowledge, numerical and relationship management skills across the Securities Services business to deliver:Tax product support to the growing Securities Services business across Europe and Asia Pacific with a particular focus on FATCA and CRS reporting.Work closely with Tax Change Management, Tax Operational Team, Funds Trustee Product Team, IT and relevant functional teams to support the shape of development delivery.Bring a data digital lens to Funds Tax Product development and enhancements, and actively seek to delight our clients in the tax offering provided.Support the production of product collateral insight documentation with involvement from product leads, client services and sales business development in order to add greater value to clients and market prospects. Maintain product rate card reviews to ensure that the commercial proposition is accurate; Support tax vendor oversight, including maintenance of contracts; Provide tax support in responding to RFPs.Support commercial deal propositions prior to Business Acceptance Committee (BAC) submissions; Support Global Tax Governance across Securities Services, including recurring meeting invites, governance packs and MI, liaising with Group Tax and NFR as required. Support periodic reviews of product roadmaps in collaboration with product and sector heads to determine 3-5 year developments; Adopt the product management development methodology and support outputs from the phases of initiation, definition, analysis, design, business case and post product live maintenance management.Is aware of the Operational Risk scenario associated with the role and proactively acts in a manner that takes account of operational and reputational risk considerations.Maintains HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.Understands, follows and demonstrates compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which the jobholder is involved, specifically Internal Controls and any Compliance policy including, inter alia, the Group Compliance policy.

Tax qualified (CA, CMA, CS) with a deep knowledge of FATCA/CRSDemonstrable financial services experience A strong technical tax base coupled with the ability and desire to work across teams and disciplines to build scalable tax solutions. Digitally focused and with experience of Transfer Agency, data systems and information flows in large organisations or tax software packagesStrategic mind-set, with strong conceptual, creative and analytical content.Energetic, results focused, change agent, with a strong work ethic.Personal qualities of stability, maturity, kindness and leadership.Team player and people motivator.First class interpersonal, collaborative, relationship building and influencing skills.Very good written and spoken English.
