Our Team
We’re looking for a Senior Test Data Management (TDM) Engineer with significant practical working experience in Test Data Management, Quality Assurance and Environment Management within Enterprise Organisations.

We’re looking for someone ambitious who of course loves the techy side of being a technologist but also someone who cares about delivering engaging customer experiences. If this sounds like you, read on.

What you’ll be doing
• Implementing, supporting and scaling Virgin Money’s Enterprise Test Data Management solution Delphix
• Collaborating with the Engineering and Project areas within Change and Delivery to design and build solutions to provision data across our non production environments
• Providing technical leadership, governance and innovation on test data management approaches and techniques
• Responsible for gathering and executing the implementation of TDM requirements, defining and developing solutions for various strategic projects
• Facilitating Tribe and Squad autonomy through the creation of reusable TDM assets and datasets making them accessible to end-users via Self-Service capabilities
• Working with the product owner to set and enforce TDM Standards consistent throughout the bank ensuring greater agility to scale and compliance.
• Ensure the centralisation of data provisioning and automation (datadevops) enables quick onboarding of new test environments and provides scope for more flexible route to live maximising speed to market.

We need you to have
• Experience with test data management tool(s) & techniques – preferably Delphi
• Subject Mater Expertise in Test Data Management frameworks, principles & standards.
• Experience in implementing Test Data Management solutions at scale and integrating with Test Environment Strategies.
• Knowledge of data privacy rules and regulations.
• Strong technical direction to project teams.
• Experience with proprietary and open-source databases, including SQL & Oracle.
• Experienced in writing SQL queries, triggers, stored procedures, and datamining.
• Experience administering TDM Toolset, infrastructure upgrades, software version upgrades and patch implementation and testing, including working with the vendor on problem troubleshooting.

It’s a bonus if you have but not essential
• Knowledge of agile testing frameworks including Test-Driven Development, Behaviour Driven Development and Scrum in an agile environment
• Strong understanding of testing requirements and functional and nonfunctional requirements.
• Strong demonstratable experience of working in commercial agile environments including continuous integration, test automation, automated software releases, cloud environment experience highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Synthetic data creation techniques and tools.
