What is the opportunity?
Partners across IT, Business line(s) and technology vendors to assess, research, and analyze business, technical and system needs to resolve business systems issues by recommending and owning technology solutions that meet sponsor/stakeholder needs. You will take an active role in supporting and troubleshooting a suite of back office and vendor applications.
What will you do?
Work collaboratively with our business partners and stakeholders from multiple IT teams.Maintains a knowledge base of internal processes and enterprise requirements with regards to implementation activities, compliance, audit, system interfaces and application enhancementsAnalyze and troubleshoot technical problems, with end-users, stakeholders and/or vendors to identify and resolve issues promptly.Coordinate and complete administrative activities for application/compliance/governance/regulatory initiativesWork closely with members of the development and QA teams to deploy change requests and enforcing production release best practices.Provide assistance with business communications for major incidents, including acting as primary resource for Tech System postings for all WM-US needsCompare performance between production and lower environments and raise issues for discussion and remediationPerform necessary activities to keep applications current such as month-end runs, application change deployments and perform problem and incident management.Perform change management activities such as source code management, creating activity records for production implementation and developing implementationWhat do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Application Custodian experience, including experience managing dev, pre-prod and prod environments.Experience in support/ maintenance work.Knowledge of risk and compliance processes and proceduresExperience in creating and executing disaster recovery protocols.Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities.Strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindsetQuick learner with ability to pick up new technologies/skills and business knowledge.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Nice-to-have
Experience in servers and applications monitoringServer management and administration experience (Unix and/or Windows)Experience with SQL Server, & Cloud is also a plus.Experience with reviewing, executing on and reporting on policy expectations.Understanding of source code management and orchestration tools: GitHub, Nexus, JenkinsThe good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $65-115K depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
