**94429BR** **Job Title:** Senior Technical Architect **Department/Function:** Human Resources **Job Description:** Senior Technical Architect, Archer Daniels Midland Company, Erlanger, KY. Lead the technical design of application solutions, including cloud native solutions. Responsible for solution requirement definitions, conceptual, and high- and low-level design artifact generation. Support design reviews. Review solutions to audit against design requirements. Research, experiment, and prototype new cloud application services. Develop and maintain technical standards. Adhere to defined architecture standards throughout application development lifecycle. Design, develop, and implement technical architecture in alignment with Enterprise Architecture’s direction and standards. Advise both IT and the business on opportunities to build better target architectures that support and drive business decisions. Support IT Enterprise governance functions including RFI’s and vendor risk assessments. 40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. $175,116 - $185,116/yr. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Information Technology, Engineering (any), Business, or a related field, and five (5) years of post-bachelor, progressive, related work experience. Must have five (5) years of experience with/in: • Building solutions using modern application design patterns including serverless applications, containerized applications, SOA applications, web service applications, and RESTful patterned applications; • Conducting design and architecture reviews; • Using front-end and back-end development technologies and frameworks; • IT technical design (either exclusively or across applications, data, cloud infrastructure, networks, or security); • Using Microsoft development platforms for application development; • Using languages such as C#, Java, Python, or R for software development; • Conducting design and architecture reviews; • Source Code Management tools such as Git, GitHub, SVN, or Gitlab; and • Relational and NoSQL databases such as SQL Server and Cosmos DB. Must have two (2) years of experience with/in: • Generating conceptual and high-level architecture design artifacts; and • Developing cloud solutions using Azure services such as App Service, Container Apps, Azure Function Apps, API Management, Logic Apps, and AKS.
