Senior Technical Business Analyst, Investment Solutions

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Global Data team for Investment Solutions at Mercer.

This role will be based in Dublin. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As Senior Technical Business Analyst, Investment Solutions, we will look for you to play a key role in the transformation of our data capabilities across Europe, US, Canada & Pacific.

Collaboratively working on significant programmes, you will help us better understand the internal end user needs & document their requirements in detail for either vendors or internal teams to, together, build significant solutions for one of the fastest growing investment solutions entities globally.

Through your analysis of investment technology solutions and software development initiatives within the investment management domain, you will help us implement and adopt a modern investment data platform.

We will count on you to:

Support the delivery of key investment data management initiatives via close collaboration with technology and business teams.Translate business needs into actionable requirements across the full spectrum of the investment cycle.Support and influence the development of Mercer’s overall data delivery strategy.Help define the target operating model, clean up the IBOR processes and data feeds,Provide investment data domain knowledge and technical subject matter expertise across a range of investment data use cases.Independently drive engagement with stakeholders, propose and implement ways to continuously enhance our data.

What you need to have: 

Experience working in a data related role, either for an Investment Manager or custodian or for a vendor providing services to the buy side.Experience working with development teams tasked with solving for investment data needs.Strong understanding of master data management and investment data domains.Experience with software used for trading and financial data management.

What makes you stand out?

Experience working on EDM or IBOR projects or solutions.Knowledge of financial market data, gained in implementing financial data solutions and optimising processes.A strong understanding of data quality & governance.
