Family Description

Applied R&D (AR) consists of target-oriented research either with the goal of solving a particular problem / answering a specific question or for multi-discipline design, development, and implementation of hardware, software, and systems including maintenance support. Supplies techno-economic consulting to clients. AR work is characterised by its detailed and complex nature in order to systematically combine existing knowledge and practices to further developing and incrementally improving products, operational processes, and customer-specific feature development.

Subfamily Description

Eletromechanical Design (EDE) consists of mechanics, thermal, interconnections, Power Supply Unit (PSU), Printed Wiring Board (PWB) layout design, and HW usability. EDE requires innovative design knowhow to design electromechanics parts to Base Transceiver Station (BTS) module, units, etc. Design targets are high quality, easy installability, and reliability products with low costs.

Impact is short-term through individual and team contributions. Scope is primarily within own subject area in a function/unit. Actions and errors impact on program, project or function. Provides measurable input into new products, processes, standards or operational plans in support of the organisation's business strategies, with some impact on business unit/ function overall results.

Knowledge & Experience

Management Experience / Achieved well-advanced skills of a specific professional discipline combining deep knowledge of theory and organisational practice or expertise. Recognised expert in their field (depth & breadth). Typically requires 5-8 years extensive relevant experience and/or a graduate / postgraduate equivalent degree.

 

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Customer Centric approach and Interface to the customers and CTs for Care Cases.
E2E case ownership with regular Governance with CTs. 
Collaboration with L3 and Market teams.
Perform initial diagnosis of incidents and find solutions through knowledge reuse.
Perform Log collection, health check and Facilitate troubleshooting sessions between Customer & L3.
Care delivery and Performance Management.
Participate in Weekly case review meetings with Market & L3.
24x7 Critical Incident Support.
Work in NAM Timezone.
E2E ownership for Delivery to Care process.


*Required Skills for Internal Candidates    
 

Technical Skills:

Kubernetes/OpenShift development/testing/support expertise, (or) CNF Support/Deployment Expertise (or)  OpenStack Support/Development/testing expertise 
Linux Level-3 Expertise 
Basic Level-2 Networking Expertise.
Years of Exp: 10 - 15 years and relevant Cloud experience to 5 plus years 
 

Availability of Support: On-Call/EME Support: 24*7 , Night shift support.


For Tiger team with L4 expertise on NCOM and NCS to support KDDI customer, Japanese Local language skill preferred.
