Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our documentation meets the needs of technically-minded users, empowering them to effectively apply Splunk software. You will be a great addition to the Splunk Product Experience organization if you: Lead and manage a team of technical writers, providing mentorship and support in crafting clear and accurate English-language documentation that enables customers to use and manage Splunk software effectively and efficiently.Drive the development and maintenance of web-based documentation and UI content, continuously improving content based on customer feedback and industry best practices.Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to define documentation requirements and priorities.Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing within the technical writing team, promoting continuous learning and professional development.Actively engage the team with research, other customer-facing roles, and with customers to understand their needs and address any challenges or concerns related to documentation.What you’ll bring 7+ years of experience in managing technical writing, with a focus on enterprise software products.Proven track record of effectively managing teams and delivering high-quality documentation in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Ability to manage time and priorities in a dynamic development environment at a fast-paced company.Demonstrated ability to integrate user feedback and continuously improve documentation based on customer needs.Degree in Computer Science or related field, or relevant professional experience.Splunk is an Equal Opportunity Employer At Splunk, we believe creating a culture of belonging isn’t just the right thing to do; it’s also the smart thing.
