Senior Technical Due Diligence Consultant

Role description:


Arcadis is seeking a Senior Technical Due Diligence Consultant to join our Technical Due Diligence Team in North America. The core responsibilities will largely relate to Investor Consulting and Transaction Advisory projects across the North America. The workload will be varied and include technical advisory with flexibility to accommodate the specific skill sets and aspirations of the applicant.


As a technical advisor to infrastructure investors, you will provide expert guidance and due diligence on potential acquisitions, divestments, lending, and partnerships infrastructure sectors. You will conduct site visits, assess the technical condition and performance of assets, identify risks and opportunities, and prepare comprehensive reports and recommendations for the fund's decision-makers, working closely with technical and environmental subject matter experts. You will also support the fund's portfolio management and asset optimization strategies by monitoring the market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the infrastructure industry. You will leverage your technical knowledge, analytical skills, and business acumen to help the fund achieve its investment objectives and create value for its stakeholders. ( This role is Hybrid with a view to having 3 days a week in office in either our Arlington VA or NYC offices )
 


Role accountabilities:

The position includes a relatively high level of responsibility and accountability with an opportunity to develop managerial as well as technical knowledge and skills, and to progress within a successful and growing specialist team. Manage and undertake professional technical consultancy commissions from origination to successful delivery related to Technical Due Diligence including investment due diligence, consulting, advisory solutions, feasibility analysis and asset planning.   Work with the Team Leader to manage risk in service delivery and ensure efficient financial control resulting in a cost-effective service. Communicate with client and team members to ensure all information is available for the successful implementation and completion of projects. Contribute to accelerating organic revenue growth and the implementation of the business strategy in terms of the TDD offering. Report quantified information on the progress of each contract to the Practice Leader on a regular basis.  

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or related degree is required. 10 years of multi-discipline experience in Due Diligence, Investment Advisory or related services

Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
