Senior Technical Fellow - Intelligent Drive Technology

As a Senior Technical Fellow, you will be instrumental in defining and driving the technical strategy and architectural vision for our IDT (AI/ML) systems. Your role will involve leveraging your extensive expertise to innovate, ensure system robustness, and maintain the highest standards of quality. This position requires a deep understanding of AI Frameworks and learning techniques, Service Delivery Platforms, Vehicle Data Systems and signal/data collection, Vehicle and mobile operating systems, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of skilled engineers and architects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Define and drive the strategic vision for IDT, ensuring alignment with company goals and industry advancements Innovation: Lead the development of cutting-edge intelligent drive solutions, incorporating the latest technologies and best practices Technical Expertise: Provide deep technical expertise in solutions architecture, AI/ML systems, including personalization & profiling, integration with vehicle systems / value stream solutions, and Service Delivery Platforms Mentorship: Mentor and guide a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineering, software development, and product management, to deliver high-quality solutions. System Integration: Oversee the integration of IDT technologies into vehicle and cloud platforms, ensuring seamless operation and performance Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, ensuring the scalability and efficiency of solutions Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical and architecture documentation, design guidelines, and standards Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure alignment with business objectives

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related degree field. Minimum of 15 years of experience in automotive or related industries, with a significant portion in architecture and system integration Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., C++, Python, MATLAB), and deep knowledge of IDT systems, AI, machine learning, and sensor fusion Proven track record of leading and mentoring engineering teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering scalable and maintainable solutions Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and stay current with industry trends and the marketplace
