Kadiak LLC, a subsidiary of Koniag Government Services, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Information Specialist/Senior Task Leader to lead and oversee specialized projects and initiatives related to records management and regulatory compliance. This role requires proficiency in reading, analyzing, classifying, and interpreting regulatory submissions, as well as the ability to lead and train project teams. The ideal candidate should possess a college degree in science or information management, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
**Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:**
**The Senior Technical Information Specialist/Senior Task Leader will be responsible for:**
+ Lead and oversee special project teams, ensuring efficient project execution, adherence to timelines, and compliance with established protocols and regulations.
+ Proficiently read, analyze, classify, and interpret regulatory submissions and scientific regulatory documents, providing subject matter expertise and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
+ Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to records management, document processing, and regulatory compliance, ensuring consistent application across the organization.
+ Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer activities to educate staff on the use and implementation of SOPs, best practices, and industry standards.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts, records management specialists, and other personnel, to ensure effective coordination and communication across projects and initiatives.
+ Provide oversight and quality control for document tracking databases, inventory records, scanning operations, and micrographic systems, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established protocols.
+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records related to project activities, regulatory submissions, and document processing.
+ Stay abreast of the latest technologies, tools, and best practices in records management, regulatory compliance, and information management, and recommend improvements or enhancements when appropriate.
+ Demonstrate excellent speaking, writing, and customer service skills, effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and clients.
+ Possess an in-depth background in computer use, including proficiency in the standard Microsoft Office suite and experience with specialized software applications and tools related to records management and document processing.

**Education:**
+ College degree (preferred but not required) in science, information management, or a related field.
+ Ability to obtain a Public Trust
**Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:**
+ Education and experience can be combined to satisfy the requirement.
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience specifically in records management.
+ Proficiency in reading, analyzing, classifying, and interpreting regulatory submissions and scientific regulatory documents.
+ Proven leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead and guide project teams towards successful outcomes.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulatory submissions and documents.
+ Strong training and facilitation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and procedures to diverse audiences.
+ Proficient in developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensuring compliance with established protocols and regulations.
+ In-depth knowledge of records management best practices, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
+ Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
+ Proficiency in using computer applications and software related to records management, document processing, and regulatory compliance.
**Desired Skills and Competencies:**
+ Experience in a government or regulated environment, with knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements related to records management and regulatory submissions.
+ Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile or Waterfall.
+ Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control processes related to document management and data integrity.
+ Understanding of data privacy and security protocols related to information handling and records management.
+ Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets and generate insightful reports and presentations.
+ Experience in leading and mentoring cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.

The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
