Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

 

Work closely with and assist engineers in the conduct of various engineering assignments  Work with microcontroller and FPGA platforms in conjunction with developing PC based software application to communicate with the FW development platform. Carry out basic work instructions that will help in understanding the fundamentals of the Company and also learn new things  Conduct limited scope testing under the supervision of engineers; Testing may range from dedicated software testing on PC platforms to integrated testing of firmware suits on embedded platforms. Complete assigned tasks on time Gather and assemble data for engineers May be required to help in research in a particular field  Conduct design analysis and/or calculations under the supervision of engineers Assist engineers with appropriate design details  Must have good interpersonal skills and have the ability to build a good network  Perform a wide variety of tasks to gain familiarity with the engineering staff, methods, programs and practices  Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization  Other duties as assigned Qualifications

 

High school diploma or GED Engineering student; some progress towards engineering degree Must have good interpersonal skills and have the ability to build a good network Must be diligent, hardworking, and quick to learn

 


The pay scale for this position is $21.43/hour - $30/hour. The pay scale information is a general guideline only.  Several factors can influence the pay scale for a position including but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, collective bargaining agreements, geographic locations, business considerations, scope and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity.  Other factors include the candidate's qualifications such as relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education/training, and certifications.
