Come help organizations be their best, while you reach new heights with a team that has your back.Role:The Senior Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) brings technical expertise and hands-on product knowledge to the Marketing team. As a TME, you will create technical sales enablement assets and produce compelling product demonstrations to illustrate how we address customer challenges. You will develop how-to guides to help practitioner-level customer audiences reach buying decisions. You will collaborate with Product Management, Product Marketing and Sales Engineering to ensure that GTM content is technically accurate and delivers contextually relevant messaging that resonates with targeted technical audiences. You will work with Splunk Technical Sales Enablement as subject matter expert to guide the development of Tech Sales Training and enablement, including New Hire Training.Key Responsibilities:Demonstrate the product capabilities in line with the associated GTM motion, use case and product lineCreate compelling demos, videos, Sales Engineer (SE) sales decks, technical FAQs and related content in support of product launches, campaigns, announcements, live events, etc.Understand the problems and challenges faced by our customers and create content to address real world business problems and persona-based customer use casesDeliver targeted enablement sessions for Marketing, Sales/SEs, and customers with original assets that drive home the value of Splunk products and resonate with our target personasAddress high-level questions about products (implementation, use, scalability, integration) in support of Marketing efforts and Sales opportunitiesDirectly and frequently support Sales/SE teams with 1:1 deal support, including opportunity progression, overcoming technical objections and bid/proposal supportDirectly and frequently support Analyst Relations by providing demo support and explaining technical product features/capabilitiesTranslate Splunk capabilities into customer value by addressing use cases and customer pain pointsIdentify gaps and opportunities in our current offerings to better serve customer needsPartner with Product Management to understand and articulate mapping of features to use cases.Essential Requirements:7+ years of proven experience with security, threat prevention, and analytics software5-7 years experience in tech marketing or sales engineeringExperience with Splunk products, or comparable solutionsProven track record of marketing to a highly technical security audience within large organizations. You must be comfortable working with and marketing to technical buyers and stakeholders within enterprises.Demonstrated experience in developing technical marketing content, sales enablement training, and tools, and presenting live and recorded enablement sessions to technical audiences.Excellent written and presentation skills. Base Pay Range

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

Base Pay Range: $159,200.00 - 218,900.00 per year

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

Base Pay Range: $143,280.00 - 197,010.00 per year

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.

Base Pay Range: $127,360.00 - 175,120.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
