About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Product Manager to lead the development and optimization of our Fees and Billing Platform. This role focuses on driving strategic initiatives and delivering product solutions that enhance billing processes and ensure precise fee management. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to meet client needs and align with Worldpay’s business objectives.
What you’ll own:
Strategic Roadmap Development: Create and implement a strategic product roadmap for the Fees and Billing Platform, ensuring alignment with Worldpay’s overall business strategy.
Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept and requirements gathering to launch and continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, design, and operations teams to deliver high-quality product features and enhancements.
Market Research and Innovation: Conduct market research and analyze customer feedback to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement, particularly in fees setup and calculations.
Platform Optimization: Identify ways to improve the processing speed and ease of setup for the fees and billing platform.
Requirements and Prioritization: Define and prioritize product requirements, balancing customer needs with business goals.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to assess product success and guide future development.
Subject Matter Expertise: Act as the subject matter expert for the Fees and Billing Platform, providing insights and support to internal teams and stakeholders.
Client Engagement: Engage with clients and partners to gather insights, build strong relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction.
What you bring:
Experience: Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably within the financial technology or payments sector.
Knowledge: Strong knowledge of billing systems and fee structures, especially for complex card-based payments, alternative payment methods, and ACH. Firm understanding of APIs and how they work within applications
Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to transform complex data into actionable insights.
Leadership: Demonstrated leadership in guiding cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects.
Communication: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels.
Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, or a related field; an MBA or relevant advanced degree is advantageous.
