Senior Technical Program Manager, AWS Product Compliance Infrastructure, AWS Security Assurance
Description Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to join the Product Compliance Infrastructure team within AWS Global Trade and Product Compliance (GTPC). A successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development of data center equipment for AWS and customers around the world. As a key member of the Product Compliance team, candidates should be strong team-leaders who are able to innovate and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This Senior Technical Program Manager position will support the growth of an exciting new business within AWS. The new business is taking AWS services closer to our customers worldwide. This role will work to launch multiple new technology products each year, in many new countries, working with multiple manufacturing and design partners plus multiple AWS internal teams. Global Trade and Product Compliance (GTPC) is responsible for ensuring that the infrastructure equipment necessary to support the AWS services are imported/exported in a compliant manner across the multiple countries where AWS operates and will expand, including all product certification/safety regulations. Key job responsibilities 1. Engage with AWS Global Launch teams, AWS hardware design teams, certification laboratories, and OEM manufacturers to drive product certification schedules worldwide for strategic new AWS business. 2. Drive project launch discussions to ensure that Product Safety, EMC/EMI, Energy Efficiency, and RF certifications are delivered to support launch schedules delivering Release to Production decisions. 3. Collect, validate, and log evidence of compliance at the product and country level across a large portfolio of hardware products. Provide real-time compliance status of equipment to key business partners. 4. Manage relationships with test labs and certification agencies, including contracting and budget. 5. Track certification expiration and manage renewal of certifications. 6. Design and drive scalable processes within a Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure consistent compliance with product regulatory requirements around the world. 7. Partner with key stakeholders to help define program strategy, project plans, and manage technology implementations. 8. Track business metrics on regular cadence, providing key insights around shifts and bottlenecks. About the team Diverse Experiences Amazon Security values diverse experiences. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market.
