GFiber is expanding into new markets and the Technical Program Managers (TPMs) play a key part in supporting that expansion strategy. The TPMs at GFiber are responsible for providing project and program management for our Engineering teams. Our Fiber systems leverage cloud-based deployment environments requiring our TPMs to have domain knowledge and application of cloud platforms.
**Role Description**
As a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM), you will work on projects related to OSS and Cloud based applications, brought forth by the Systems and Tools teams. You’ll launch new programs in response to internal team and customer needs, working from inception to the execution phase while fostering accountability and maintaining an open culture of giving and receiving feedback. You’ll have access to a suite of mobile applications (on both iOS and Android platforms), customer web-based portals, backend systems built on Salesforce, fiber management systems, customer agent and ticketing tools, and object storage services (OSS). Because of the variety of systems and tools you’ll use, you’ll have access to data that you’ll translate into recommendations, action plans, and presentations to internal stakeholders, helping GFiber to deliver projects on time and budget.
**In this role, you'll:**
+ Drive the future of fiber internet by leading the development and launch of innovative programs that directly impact our customers and shape the evolution of our network.
+ Orchestrate cross-functional technical teams, leading Agile sprints and ensuring seamless project execution.
+ Leverage your technical expertise to conduct thorough technology reviews, challenge proposals, and build consensus among stakeholders.
+ Own the successful delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
+ Manage geographically distributed teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring consistent project delivery.
**At a minimum we'd like you to have:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
+ 5 years of experience in technical program management delivering on large scale transformation projects.
+ 5 years of experience delivering technical solutions including software development lifecycles.
+ Expertise in architecting and implementing cloud-native solutions, including microservices, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), and modern network virtualization technologies.
**It's preferred if you have:**
+ 5 years of experience managing software projects on public cloud.
+ Proven ability to proactively identify and resolve complex technical challenges in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering scalable and reliable solutions.
+ Ability to balance multiple projects with competing deadlines.
+ Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices within a cloud environment.
+ Experience with telecom specific OSS/BSS systems.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $185,000 - $203,000 + bonus + cash award + benefits. As pay varies by location, your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
