Senior Technical Program Manager

As a member of our Engineering department, you will join a bright, fast-paced, and Well-rounded team.
As a Senior Technical Program Manager with Everbridge, you will be responsible for facilitating release planning, translation, scheduling, and coordinating with Product Management, Engineering, and other internal stakeholders throughout the delivery pipeline from development to testing and the final delivery of the production environments. What you’ll do Collaborate and build relationships across the organization, bridge gaps between teams, and successfully influence without authority.Work hands-on with all teams and leadership to optimize cross-functional team processes, often working with ambiguity to drive results. Partner with engineering, product management, and other internal stakeholders to encourage seamless collaboration among these teams. Identify and clarify key risks, make recommendations to proactively mitigate issues, and manage cross-functional dependencies. Implement and optimize systems and processes to enhance efficiency and support execution of the organization as a whole.Utilize data and analytics to inform program progress and measure success. Work with and act as a liaison for technical and non-technical teams, including Marketing, Finance and Compliance to support all aspects of technology operations. What you’ll bring: 5+ years’ experience in managing multiple complex programs. Demonstrated ability to navigate cross time zone and cross company collaboration, often with changing priorities. Bring strong, data-informed and strategic technical judgement to decisions as needed.Understanding of software development processes (e.g. Agile Scrum) and technologies, including proficiency in managing and optimizing tools and systems.Flexible around process, using process as a tool when it makes sense. Proficient with Jira and Confluence and apps like MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical discipline or experience. What will make you stand out: You can convey concepts and considerations to non-experts and experts alike.
