Job Description Summary
Primary responsibilities include overall accountability and leadership for complex projects, successful and timely implementations as well as satisfying the intended business results. Core responsibility for managing relationships and communicating with the project sponsor, senior management and a wide range of project contributors. Identifies key barriers to a projects success and actively manages all mitigation activities.

Major Accountabilities:
•Technical Program Management includes driving release lifecycle is the key responsibility to lead end-to-end program execution for complex technical initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
•Serve as a servant leader and facilitator for an Agile Release Train (ART), ensuring smooth execution of PI commitments, facilitating collaboration across teams, and driving continuous improvement.
•Organize and lead Program Increment (PI) planning events, aligning teams on objectives and priorities. Tracks progress, resolve impediments, and ensure alignment between teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
•Identify and mitigate risks, proactively resolving blockers to keep releases on track. Ensure a successful product delivery and methodology compliance using SAFe and agile practices.
•Foster a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing post-release metrics and refining processes. Own and oversee the release calendar, coordinating multiple product and platform releases across various teams.
•Establish and enforce release governance processes, including risk assessment, change control, and compliance. Lead go/no-go decisions, ensuring all release requirements are met before deployment.
•Act as a bridge between engineering, product, and operations teams, ensuring alignment on release scope and timelines. Provide transparent and timely updates on release status, risks, and dependencies to leadership and stakeholders. Advocate for cross-functional collaboration, facilitating efficient handoffs between teams.
•Define and track release performance metrics (e.g., deployment success rates, rollback rates, cycle times). Drive process improvements to reduce friction in software delivery while maintaining compliance. Implement and refine incident response processes to quickly address release failures and minimize downtime.

Education:
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
•PMP certification preferred
•SAFe (Scaled Agile Frameworks) training and certification is a plus.

Knowledge / Experience:
•Advanced knowledge and demonstrated expertise in the areas of release strategy, PI planning and project management required processes and techniques.
•Experience with ALM and/or JIRA
•Must have agile experience in a development environment
•8+ years of experience with structured methodology and project planning tools.
•Knowledge of MasterCard and the payments industry preferred.
