Senior Technical Program Manager

If so, the Microsoft Security Response Center (MSRC) is looking for you. We are looking for a Sr. Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our dynamic Security Release Team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the security, reliability, and efficiency of Microsoft's security release processes including assigning and publishing Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE). As a member of the Security Release Team, within the MSRC, you will drive the coordination and execution of complex security release programs, working closely with a global network of security experts and partners. Your responsibilities will include orchestrating comprehensive security release strategies, fostering collaboration across diverse teams, and leveraging advanced project management methodologies to mitigate risks. By developing and enforcing stringent security industry standards such as CVSS, CWE, CPE and others, you will play a crucial role in upholding the integrity of our products and services, while also spearheading initiatives to enhance the scalability and operational efficiency of our security release pipeline. In alignment with our Microsoft values, we are committed to cultivating an inclusive work environment for all employees to positively impact our culture every day. **Responsibilities** • Lead and manage end-to-end technical programs, focusing on security release management. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, operations and customer support, to deliver high-quality security releases on time. • Drive the development and implementation of security policies, standards, and guidelines across the release pipeline. • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. • Identify and mitigate potential security risks throughout the release process. • Facilitate communication and coordination among stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery of program objectives. • Continuously improve release processes to enhance security, scalability, and operational efficiency. • Monitor and report on program progress, risks, and issues to senior leadership. Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
