Corgan is actively recruiting a dynamic Senior Technical Project Architect to join the firm as part of our Aviation team. Tackle these responsibilities alongside a team of creative, highly motivated individuals who are passionate about their work and ready to collaborate to achieve outstanding results. Responsibilities

 

Execute coordination and integration of architectural and consultant construction documents including redlining, detail review, QA QC check and consultant coordinationExtensive knowledge of building systems and materialsDevelop technical details for systems and assemblies Generate creative design solutions within the functional parameters of a projectTranslate concepts and information into imagesExecute the process of preparing and completing usable construction document detailing solutionsAssist with creation and management of project schedulesDevelop and present appropriate technical solutions to stakeholdersAssist with leading project studio team members, leveraging strengths, and providing mentorshipWork proactively to resolve issues that arise between project, design, and technical objectives of the project, in coordination with Project ManagerDemonstrate understanding of appropriate industry standards and construction practiceApply knowledge of construction methods and timelinesMaintain awareness of, and appropriately apply, new methodologies, practices, codes, and productsAttend and conduct presentations Manage client relationsProvide leadership and mentorship to staff Qualifications

 

Degree from an NAAB accredited program or equivalent15+ years of experience in commercial design; aviation experience strongly preferredRevit familiarity and technical excellenceThorough understanding of how a drawing set goes togetherMust have high attention to detail and strong analytical skillsThe ability to juggle multiple priorities is essentialAcumen for how things are built and constructability, and the ability to apply that knowledge to support the project design and budgetCandidates should be efficient with coordinating project deliverables and client expectations Experience preparing all stages of design documentation Understanding of building and accessibility codes Experience coordinating with a variety of consultants and contractorsProfessional registration highly desiredEffective organizational and communication skillsAttention to detailFlexible attitudeAbility to collaborate in a diverse project team environmentDemonstrated experience coordinating and leading projects teams Ability to translate design concepts and information into imagesConfident presentation abilityPotential travel opportunities

Base Salary Range: $105,000- $145,000 annually – New York locations only 

The estimate range represents the general base salary range of candidates hired in New York only. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training. In addition, base salary is not inclusive of total compensation.
