Allianz Services within Allianz Technology plays a key role in Data Analytics and AI-driven transformation by providing impactful solutions, growing capabilities, and running selected innovation and scaling projects across the Allianz operating model. As As a Senior Project Manager you'll play a pivotal role in driving the successful execution of globally scalable Data Analytics and AI solutions. Collaborating across departments and under the guidance of the Head of Business Data Improvement & Services, alongside the Global Business Owner team responsible for Allianz Data Platform (ADP), you'll lead interdisciplinary collaborations to leverage data-driven insights across vital areas such as Claims, Sales, and Operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional teams to strategically plan, execute, and deliver impactful Data Analytics and AI solutions aligned with business objectives. Lead cross-functional demand management process to gathering, structuring and prioritizating demand from our Organizational Entities, Group Center, AZ Technology, AZ Group Architecture/Technology teams. Develop comprehensive project plans, manage resources efficiently, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Overseeing and manage OE-Core Group Workshops (+10 OEs & Group Center, AZ Tech). Steer and prepare material for important C-Level meetings (e.g. BoardMeeting, SteerCos, Architecture Board Meetings etc.) Leading and conducting retrospectives with AZ Tech, as well as engaging in face-to-face discussions with various stakeholders from the Group. Utilize your deep project management skills to guide solution design, ensure alignment with best practices, and troubleshoot challenges. Implement demand/ validation processes, and adhere to industry standards to ensure high-quality project deliverables. Keep stakeholders informed with regular updates, adapt plans to mitigate risks, and accommodate evolving business needs. Mentor & Coach junior team members, foster their growth, and contribute to a culture of learning through insights and documentation.
Key Requirements/Skills/Experience
Qualifications:
Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Science / Engineering / Economics / Business Administration. Broad knowledge about insurance dynamics (Allianz knowledge of advantage), transformation initiatives and dependencies. Broad insurance domain knowledge (e.g. data in use, objectives, metrics, best-practices). Practical experience in identifying and setting-up of strategic partnerships. Program/project management experience, preferably in data and transformation projects. Deep understanding of Data and AI/ML fields, as well as the software development lifecycle, processes, and tools (Build, Run, Ops, DevOps, ML Ops, CI/CD, IaC, change management). In-depth knowledge and experience with agile project management tools (Confluence, JIRA) and methodologies (Agile, Kanban, Scrum). Fluent English skills (written and spoken) are mandatory and additional language skills are welcome
Experience & Key Skills:
3-5 years of working experience in consulting or insurance sector in project management roles Strong analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills combined with out-of-the-box-thinking Strong presentation and communication skills towards senior management and diverse groups of business and technical stakeholders Ability to communicate expert knowledge in a target-audience friendly way Entrepreneurial can-do attitude and drive with out-of-the-box-thinking, focus on high quality execution and delivery of task, result-oriented, customer-focused, pro-active, flexible and energetic team player with ability to work under pressure Being willing to 'go the extra' mile for our customers, partners and other business units
