Senior Technical Project Manager

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of IT projects and Scrum ceremonies within the Good Sam IT organization.  As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering all types and sizes of IT projects on time, within scope, and within budget.  The Senior Technical Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating project teams, managing resources, implementing, and maintaining processes, supporting Scrum ceremonies and related reporting, and ensuring that project objectives are met while adhering to quality standards as well as insurance and Infosec regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a proven record of accomplishment delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.  You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams; including but not limited to IT, Operations, Engineering/QA, and vendors across the enterprise, to ensure that all project success criteria are accomplished and meet the needs of the business.

What You'll Do:

Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and RACIBuild and lead cross-functional project teams, including internal staff and external contractors/vendors.Provide clear direction, motivation, and support to team members to foster a collaborative and results-driven work environmentChampion Agile practices to ensure adherence to guidelines and increase adaptionMaintain accurate records of project activities, including milestones, deliverables, and expenditures.Engage the team with project management expertise and confidence.Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and objectivesCommunicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders both verbally and in writingClosely monitor project performance through success of short- and long-term deliverables while compiling sprint results and regular project updatesIdentify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets. Proactively monitor project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as needed to maintain project momentum and mitigate impactEnsure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirementsPrepare regular sprint reports, status updates, and other project documentation for stakeholders and project sponsors.Provide actionable insights to help improve team efficiency and productivity

What You'll Need:

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Project Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience. Master's degree is a plusMinimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on Agile/Scrum frameworkSolid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practicesAbility to exemplify and promote Agile values and principlesProven record of accomplishment managing small to large-scale IT projects from conception through execution and maintenanceAbility and eagerness to identify and implement process improvementsSense of urgency to ensure high visibility project risks and issues are addressed accordinglyStrong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teamsExcellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsExperience in risk management, budgeting, and financial analysisProficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office SuiteRequired CertificationsCertified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum MasterProject Management Professional (PMP)SAFe Agilist / Agile Project Management

**This position can be remote and will require some travel to our Lincolnshire, IL offices as necessary.**

General Compensation Disclosure

The pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.   At Camping World, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors stated. A reasonable estimate of the current range is listed below.  

Pay Range:

$93,800.00-$140,750.00 Annual
