Our Transportation Business Group in Kentucky / Tennessee / Arkansas is looking for career-minded professionals to work as a key member of a team for moderate to large projects and work independently on smaller projects. This position would lead a transportation team managing across multiple sectors – including DOT, transit, aviation, ports/maritime, CEI.

In the role of Senior Technical Project Specialist, we'll count on you to:Perform engineering assignments under the direct supervision of a licensed engineerDesign tasks involving judgment in evaluating, selecting and applying engineering techniques and proceduresProduction of design drawings and construction documents through the use of computer aided design and other design softwarePreparation of design and quantity calculationsPreparation of specifications and contract documentsOther duties as assigned by the supervising engineerCoordination with other disciplines as necessaryWhen required, coordinate the work of one or more Technical SpecialistsPreferred QualificationsMinimum 10 years of relevant project management experienceBachelor's degree in engineeringTennessee PE or ability to obtainPMP certificationDOT, municipality experienceRequired Qualifications
Associate's degree in engineering or related field of study or equivalent work experienceA minimum of 15 years of engineering experience in the discipline to be supportedAptitude and demonstrated hands-on experience with computer applications specific to the discipline to be supportedExtensive knowledge of industry standards specific to the discipline being supportedProven ability to work in multi-disciplinary environmentsProficient with Microsoft OfficeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
