Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead technical expertise assignments of medium complexity. Each day, you will contribute to the development of technical expertise solutions and services. You will also showcase your expertise by participating in the creation of technical expertise business strategy.The work model for the role is: {onsite)This role is contributing to the electrification product group in UAE. You will be mainly accountable for:Developing technical competency amongst colleagues in specific areas of expertise.Determining offered solutions and product versions, including the extent of standard and non-standard solution scope to meet medium to high complexity customer requirements.Leading case management for the resolution of technical issues.Identifying and imparting relevant training and qualification needs and competency assurance verification requirements.•\tBuild business relationships and proactively support partners and internal and external customers. •\tDevelop and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service and technical knowledge of the customer needs.•\tExcellent knowledge in earthing software such as CDEGS, ETAP, etc. with certification. •\tIn depth knowledge of Electrical standards for grounding.•\tHave worked in a similar role for 10 years. •\tCollaborates with the sales team of the other ABB divisions in order to maximize the common business opportunities, furthermore you collaborate with the product marketing team to take into the market the right value proposition bringing back relevant market information.•\tKeeps CRM and all relevant reporting updated and report back to the Marketing & Sales Manager.•\tAble to provide accurate Demand Order and Revenue forecasts •\tIn depth knowledge of AutoCAD, BIM & Navisworks knowledge, reading and understanding architectural layouts, sections and elevations. •\tLive ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for own actions while caring for the colleagues and the business.

Qualifications for the role

\tMinimum 10 years of experience in earthing, lightning protection & surge protection with excellent technical & sales knowledge in Gulf Countries.\tSound knowledge of the Earthing, Lightning & Surge Protection system. \tA collaborative, solutions-oriented approach\tWork cohesively with the team to maximize output. \tPassion for solutions and applications.\tComfortable defining pricing positioning.\tElectrical Engineering background.\tWillingness to travel when needed.\tExcellent presentation and communication skills.\tGood organization skills.\tProblem solving and analytical skills.\tKnowledge in earthing software\tComfortable using a CRM system\tGood knowledge in Microsoft Office 365
