**Position Schedule:** Full-Time
**Team Overview:**
The 529 & Invoicing team is part of the Networking & Product Support department. The team is responsible for 529 Operations, Mutual Fund Invoicing, Workplace Retirement Operations, and Contracts with Mutual Fund Product Partners. The team regularly collaborates across departments and divisions to support multiple products across the firm.
**What You'll Do:**
As a Senior Technical Specialist on the team, you will be responsible for supporting mutual fund invoicing processes with 100+ mutual fund product partners and supporting day-to-day operations and oversight of 529 accounts. Invoicing work is cyclical and is heaviest during the first week of each month.
Other responsibilities include:
+ Serve as a subject matter expert and perform monthly invoicing procedures related to mutual fund products such as Shareholder Accounting and 12b-1 invoicing with specific attention to detail.
+ Perform regular and periodic controls on invoicing processes to ensure accuracy of invoices and adherence to regulatory requirements. Support team audit requests on an as needed basis.
+ Act as a liaison to Edward Jones Mutual Fund Product Partners and answer invoicing inquiries on an as needed basis.
+ Support 529 operations through completion of regular controls, oversight of processes, and performance of regular processes needed to support the 529 business.
+ Analyze, research, and interpret, complex information utilizing a high degree of industry and regulatory knowledge related to the business area.
+ Serve as a subject matter expert on multiple business area functions including a deep understanding of both how and why the work is performed.
+ Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, abandonment, and risk mitigation and implement solutions.
+ Train and coaching of associates within or across multiple business areas.

**Skills/Requirements**
**What Experience You'll Need:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ 3+ years of experience in the financial services industry or related field is required, including:
+ Familiarity with industry and business area specific regulations is required within 6 months.
+ Knowledge of complex systems and system interdependencies within Operations necessary.
+ Must have ability to identify process improvement opportunities and determine business requirements while understanding downstream impacts to other systems.
+ Strong analytical skills preferred with intermediate skills in creating complex spreadsheets and formulas, running Power BI queries creating and analyzing reports, using internet reference material and external resources to proactively develop measures, make decisions, or to manage ongoing controls for the business area.

+ Advanced Excel knowledge
+ Proficiency with Power BI
