The Senior Technical Strategic Communications Specialist will lead content and product marketing strategies to enhance our government customer's brand presence. You will be responsible for developing go-to-market plans, producing engaging content, managing social media, and supporting internal communications to drive brand engagement, increase market visibility, and elevate the customer’s products and initiatives.
Your expertise in communications, strategic marketing, content creation, and product positioning will strengthen our government customer's brand reputation, attract top talent, and ensure cohesive messaging across all channels. Your contributions will play a key role in promoting our customer's core competencies in key markets.
Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000
Travel: Up to 20%
You will: Partner with senior leadership to develop comprehensive communication plans, presentations, and internal messaging that keep team members informed and aligned with our customer's Product Line objectives. Lead all aspects of internal customer communications, including the customer's Product Line announcements, policy updates, and team members engagement initiatives. Ensure messaging is consistent, clear, and aligned across all internal and external platforms. Collaborate with the strategy and growth team to develop and implement go-to-market strategies that effectively position the customer's core competencies in target markets. Develop and lead a content strategy that includes blogs, articles, case studies, videos, podcasts, and social media content. Ensure alignment with SEO best practices and branding guidelines while engaging target audiences. Build strong relationships with all functional areas to ensure messaging and strategy alignment. Use insights from these teams to craft relevant and compelling communications. Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring that all communications—whether related to the company brand, products, or internal culture—are consistent, aligned with our customer's values, and meet brand standards. Lead social media efforts by developing and executing campaigns across platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) to engage audiences and promote the customer's initiatives. Research and pursue opportunities for awards and speaking engagements to position our customer as an industry leader. Create and manage various marketing materials, including presentations, infographics, brochures, and videos, to support our customer's initiatives. Monitor and analyze marketing campaign effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.You Have:
US Citizenship Possession of or the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret Level Security Clearance Minimum of 5 years in communications and marketing, with a focus on communications, product marketing, content strategy, and customer engagement. Strong digital marketing expertise in B2B, tech, or government sectors is highly preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Public Relations, or a related field preferred. Proven ability to develop brand and product positioning strategies. Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills, with experience in creating customer-centered content that aligns with market needs and business objectives. Proficient with digital marketing tools, content management systems, SEO/SEM strategies, and analytics platforms. Strong skills in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools. We Would Love it if You Had: Experience working closely with product teams to position products competitively and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the product life cycle. Demonstrated ability to lead content strategy, including SEO optimization, selecting distribution channels, and driving audience engagement.
