Let’s Talk about You We are looking for a highly motivated senior technical writer who will take end-to-end responsibility for one of our product areas. In this role, you will: + Research and analyze needs to understand user goals and objectives and identify appropriate content deliverables for assigned projects, including scope and schedule of content deliverables. + Produce accurate, clear, and concise content following topic-based writing principles and PTE style guidelines. + Act as a project lead, meeting project deadlines. + Coordinate informal and formal reviews with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other product team members. + Write and review user interface text. + Be a member of scrum teams, and work in Agile methodology with development sprints. + Collaborate with key stakeholders on a range of content deliverables and outputs. + Regularly report project status; recognize potential problems and promptly report issues to the Technical Writing Manager. + Respond to requests for content updates based on identified defects, product enhancements, root cause analysis findings, to help ensure we deliver high quality products to our customers. + Assist in the development and maintenance of content development processes and standards, recommending changes required to match or surpass industry standards. + Provide substantive editing for SMEs and other content developers, reviewing content for organization, logic, presentation, completeness, and consistency. Let’s Talk about who we are looking for **Experience and skills** + Minimum 8 years’ experience as a technical writer in a software company, working in an Agile environment. + Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, Journalism, Instructional Design, Computer Technology, or related field. + Experience with Madcap Flare or another documentation authoring software. + Experience with GitHub or another source control system. + Ability to research a topic and translate the information into goal-oriented, user-friendly content. + Ability to grasp technical details and understand underlying technologies quickly. + High attention to detail and consistency. + Excellent communication skills to collaborate with SMEs. + Excellent English written, verbal, and presentation skills. + Ability to work well as part of a global team. + Self-motivated and proactive, with strong organizational and time management skills. + Ability to quickly analyze the impact of development changes on deliverables and adjust workload appropriately. + Ability to effectively cope with multiple tasks and resolve conflicts caused by competing priorities. **Nice to have** + Experience using JIRA/Confluence and SharePoint. + Experience in API documentation. + Topic-based writing methodology. + Experience in developing videos or eLearning.
