In the role as Technical Writer in Corporate Quality, part of R&D you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer.
The team you will be part of:
You will join our team of 20 skilled professionals, split between Denmark and India, as a Technical Writer at GN. Your primary task will be to convert intricate technical content into easy-to-understand documentation. A key aspect of this role is leveraging your skills in MadCap Flare to create and manage high-quality documentation projects. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work with AI tools to enhance the efficiency and quality of our documentation processes. The ideal candidate will be diligent and able to work without supervision while efficiently collaborating with a diverse, international team.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
Develop, write, and maintain user-friendly technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, and online help systems.
Simplify complex technical concepts and jargon into clear, concise, and engaging content.
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and customer support to gather information and ensure documentation accuracy.
Utilize your advanced knowledge of MadCap Flare to efficiently create, organize, and manage documentation projects.
Apply CSS and XML skills to enhance the presentation and structure of documentation.
Write with translation in mind, ensuring content is clear, concise, and culturally neutral to facilitate accurate translation.
Continuously seek feedback from users to improve documentation clarity and usability.
To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Technical Writer with a focus on simplifying complex content.
Very good language communication skills, both written and verbal.
Extensive experience and proficiency in MadCap Flare.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them for a non-technical audience.
Experience in writing documentation with translation in mind, ensuring clarity and consistency.
Experience with working in a medical device regulated company. Knowledge of the Medical Device Regulation is a plus.
Well versed in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat Pro
Good knowledge of XML and HTML are a plus
