Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Writer to create, manage, and maintain high-quality technical documentation for Experian's products and services. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior writers, and establishing documentation standards to enhance user experience.
You will be #LI-hybrid based in Hyderabad and reporting to Client Experience Manager.
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including user manuals, API documentation, and system guides.
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and understand documentation requirements.
Ensure technical content is accurate, clear, concise, and adheres to company standards.
Review and edit documentation for clarity, consistency, and completeness.
Create and maintain templates for technical documents.
Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to improve documentation quality.
You will stay updated with industry trends and best practices in technical writing.
You will support and coach junior team members.
QualificationsQualifications
5+ years of experience in technical writing.Proficiency with the use of documentation tools such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, or similar.Experience of HTML, CSS and/or web design.Experience with API documentation and tools like Swagger or Postman.Experience of using image capturing software such as SnagIt.Experience working in an Agile environment.Key Skills:
Knowledge of software development processes and methodologies.Ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.Strong collaboration skills and ability to represent user/customer needs.Ability to plan, schedule, and monitor work to meet objectives.Additional InformationOur uniqueness is that we celebrate yours.
