Meet the Team:
The Airbus Helicopters Flexrotor Program offers one of the most sophisticated small tactical unmanned aerial systems (STUAS) with vertical take-off and landing (VTOL). It can be used day or night by US and allied forces for a diverse range of intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance (ISTAR) on land and at sea.

Your Challenges:
Perform work on assigned aircraft module in accordance with required processes.
Build complex mechanical assemblies with or without written work instructions within established periods and processes with a high degree of accuracy and quality.
Build/modify and test electronic components including, but not limited to harnesses, thermocouples, and circuit boards.
Perform operational power on checks of equipment to include but not limited to; instruments, radios, navigation, pitot/static systems, displays, ICS/audio, and lighting.
Should be familiar with test equipment used for operational checks of the above systems.
Diagnose the cause of malfunctions, identifies failures and determines corrective action to restore systems to required operating specifications and standards.
Perform required corrective action by making repairs, adjustments or replacements.
Coordinate with required personnel for parts request, supplies, and AOG priority of job assignments.
Ensure maintenance data being used is of the latest revision level.
Maintain production equipment and tools.
Responsibility to keep defects, rework & scrap at minimum levels.
Assist engineering in Scheduling and planning R&D efforts not to conflict with production.
Follow all OSHA, safety and environmental regulations.
Contribute to technical and quality reports or other documentation. This includes but is not limited to work instructions and QA sign-off sheets, for use by engineering staff, management, or customers.
Document, transcribe and collaborate on development and improvement of Manufacturing Work Instructions
Your Boarding Pass:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum six (6) years’ experience in the testing, modification, and repair of mechanical components
Management skills, ability to multi-task and handle high volume workloads.
Ability to train team members and transfer knowledge.
Correctly understands assembly / build requirements for aircraft configuration per customer request and ability to work effectively with supporting departments in order to meet build requirements
Assesses items for conformance to engineering requirements
Prepares reports to status of work performed.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Systems (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)/Google Workspace.
Proficiency in ERP and MES systems used in production of aircraft
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form in EnglishLess than 10% Domestic and International travel
Preferred Education/Skills:
Degree in related field
Applicable trade school
FAA Airframe and Power plant (A&P)
FCC license
Train the Trainer certification
Lean / Six Sigma Certificate
Trained / certified by OEM

Vision: able to see and read computer screens and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings. (Daily)
Hearing: able to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on the production floor including safety warnings or alarms. (Daily)
Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications. (Daily)
Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and variety of tools including production tools such as hand tools, vibratory tools, and assorted shop equipment. (Daily)
Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs. (Daily)
Lifting: able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs. (Daily)
Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools. (Daily)
Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on the computer. (Daily)
Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving. (Daily)
Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on the production floor. (Daily)
Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice. (rarely)
Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces. (infrequently)
Personal Protective Equipment required: Required PPE includes, but is not limited to, Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Respirators/Masks, and/or Protective Gloves as required by site and/or customer site
Administrative position only PPE required: Steel-toed shoes may be required for shop floor visits, appropriate hearing/eye protection may also be required when visiting the shop floor.
Salary range:Salary range based on the required profile: $25.00 - $42.00 per hour, depending on experience. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on geographic differential. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
