POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Technician Audio Visual is responsible to provide a high level of audio, visual & lighting installations and technical operations, attractions, and event venues within the property.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Oversees the Start of Day (SOD) and End of Day (EOD) daily activities to ensure all audio-video & lighting equipment and facilities are 100% safe and operational at any given time.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
1. Performs minor repairs and routine cleaning of all AV & lighting equipment.
2. Ensures he is fully conversant with the operational characteristics of AV and lighting
equipment. Carries out effective checks on a regular basis to ensure the system is
functioning as required. Follows up to ensure that the functioning requirements by
the end user is implemented as instructed by his immediate superior.
3. Monitors equipment performance and conducts maintenance works as per
schedule
4. Ensures sufficient consumables and spare parts are available and reports to the Lead Technician any deficiencies thereof.
5. Install, repairs, refreshes, and retires AV entertainment equipment.
6. Assists the Lead Technician in ensuring facility equipment preventive maintenance
is well implemented.
7. Perform other reasonable duties as may be assigned by his superior from time to
time. May be transferred to other sections of the Engineering Department at the
discretion of Engineering Senior Manager, Chief Engineer, or Director of Engineering.
QUALIFICATIONS:
I. Experience
1. At least two (2) years in audio-visual / technical theatre stage set-up & operations; live events experience.
II. Education
1. Preferably with a Degree or a technical/vocational certificate/diploma in AV or Engineering course; or the equivalent combination of education and technical certifications training.
