For our location in Leiden, Netherlands we are looking for a Specialist Technician Quality Control.

Established support individual contributor that executes routine tasks with limited supervision and more complex tasks with support. Executes day-to-day laboratory activities such as sample management, supply ordering and receipt, and general housekeeping. Maintains good laboratory housekeeping and documentation practices. Performs instrument qualification/validation activities and lab investigations, and data review and metrics reporting. Identifies improvement opportunities and drives resolution with limited guidance. Escalates risks and issues as required.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Perform various testing on finished products, stability samples and in-process control samples according to GMP/GLP guidelines and SOP procedures in a timely manner. In addition, perform specific analyses required for the testing team he/she is part of.Analyze, report and review test results to applicable systems.Adhere to compliance best practices, EHSS regulations and lean principles.General lab support functions such as ordering of lab supplies, managing generated waste, equipment handling, preparation of reagents and attending team meetings.Identify and call out issues to supervisor in a timely manner.Perform other work-related activities assigned by supervisor.

Minimum qualification (education/experience)

MLO/MBO (or equivalent) or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with 3-5 years of related working experience.
