The primary responsibility of this role is to evaluate the performance of experimental inks in inkjet printers and custom jetting fixtures

Responsibilities

Operate custom printing and drop visualization fixtures in a laboratory environment

Evaluate inks on commercial inkjet printers

Operate textile printing and processing equipment

Evaluate print quality and end use properties through visual inspection and various characterization techniques 

Troubleshooting, diagnosing and repair computer-controlled laboratory instrumentation

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

Required

BS Degree in Electrical, Electro Mechanical, Instrumentation Engineering or related field

Experience operating and troubleshooting complex laboratory equipment

Experience repairing hardware (electronic and/or mechanical)

Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office programs

Strong oral and written communication skills

Motivated self-starter with good organizational skills and attention to detail

Works effectively in a team environment interacting

Good organizational skills and attention to detail

Commitment to safety

Desirable

Experience with inkjet printers

Experience in a printing and/or measuring quality of printed products

Experience writing computer code, scripts, and/or macros
