JOB SUMMARY
This job provides technology administration services in support of one or more enterprise wide software tools that empower our internal and external customers to communicate effectively and make better business decisions.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the implementation of software upgrades, patches and configuration changes. Ensure they are implemented using all established change management procedures.Assist new project teams and health plan partners in the onboarding process which includes software acquisition, security setup, and establishing their use of the various software development lifecycles. Mentor project teams and end users on the use of technology.Train and mentor junior team members on the processes and procedures established to support the associated tool-sets.Implement infrastructure and architecture changes to all product lifecycles as needed to ensure the platform is highly available, reliable and resilient to meet all service level agreements.Gather product related metrics to support departmental reporting requirements of the IT organization.Participate in the Center of Excellence activities to ensure standards, best practices, processes and procedures are being met by the users of the software platform.Lead technical proof of concept projects as needed to evaluate new features, functions and technology for the information technology services supported by the team.Monitor the infrastructure to ensure the information technology services and enterprise software applications are performing at optimal levels to meet all service level objectives. Troubleshoot technical issues affecting the infrastructure, and determine root cause to resolve problems returning services to normal levels.Participate on the on-call rotation for the information technology services supported by the team.Other duties as required.EDUCATION
