Job Description: 

 

We are seeking a seasoned and accomplished Senior Technology Auditor with a strong focus on cloud computing to lead our audit initiatives and contribute to the enhancement of our technology governance framework. As a senior member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in assessing and improving the effectiveness of our organization's technology systems, controls, and processes, with a specific emphasis on cloud environments. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in auditing, risk management, programming, and a deep understanding of cloud technologies. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

Lead and execute comprehensive technology audits, providing strategic direction and guidance to audit teams, with a specific focus on assessing cloud-based systems and services.  Collaborate with executive leadership to align audit strategies with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements, particularly those related to cloud security and compliance.  Apply advanced programming skills to automate and optimize audit processes, enabling efficient analysis of large-scale and intricate technology environments, including cloud platforms.  Conduct in-depth technical reviews of cloud infrastructure, configurations, and architectures to identify and address vulnerabilities and weaknesses, ensuring adherence to best practices in cloud security.  Develop and implement innovative audit methodologies for cloud environments, staying ahead of industry trends and technological advancements in cloud computing.  Mentor and coach junior auditors, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment, with an emphasis on cloud-related skills and expertise.  Serve as a subject matter expert on technology-related risks in the context of cloud computing, providing insights to management and influencing strategic decisions.  Engage with external stakeholders, including cloud service providers, regulatory bodies, and auditors, to ensure compliance and build strong partnerships in the cloud space.  

Qualifications: 

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.  Professional certifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), or equivalent.  3-5 years of progressive experience in technology auditing, risk assessment, and compliance, with a significant focus on auditing cloud environments.  Expert-level programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or PowerShell, with specific experience in automating cloud-related audit processes.- 1-2 yrs.  In-depth knowledge of industry frameworks and standards, such as PCI, COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST, etc. and their application to cloud security.  Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering technology audits in complex cloud environments.  Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.  Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership in the context of cloud technology.  If you possess a deep understanding of cloud computing, along with extensive experience in technology auditing and programming, we invite you to apply.
