Job Description & Summary

The FCU Technology team at PwC Polska includes over 100 IT specialists. The financial services industry operates in a challenging environment due to global economic pressures, increasing regulatory and capital requirements, and significant operational and technological changes. As FCU Technology, we provide innovative technological solutions, data analytics and consulting services for global PwC clients, responding to key challenges in the area of Anti Financial Crime (Anti Money Laundering, Combating Terrorism Financing, Fraud Risk Management, FATCA and implementation of financial sanctions, etc.).

We are looking for:

Senior Technology Consultant

Your future role:

Key contributor to development and implementation of go-to-market and sales strategies to drive business growth. Participate actively in the sales process, from lead generation to closing deals,

Participation in development of product pricing methodology and operationalisation of pricing process,

Identify and address Client needs for technology solutions and support,

Establish effective working relationships directly with Clients,

Provide input to product strategy to address complex business, formal and technical challenges,

Collaborate with Clients and PwC technology teams, including developers, security teams, infrastructure, and system administrators, to design, assess feasibility, and manage solution delivery,

Contribute to technology product development activities to explore opportunities with new and existing Clients,

Propose approaches for automation and business process improvements leveraging technology,

Connect efforts of various tech teams to design solutions tailored to business processes,

Develop high quality work plans, project approaches, and methods for technology projects and in case of business need coordinate small to medium implementations of technology solutions and tools,

Contribute to the development of your own and your team's technical and implementation framework acumen,

Participate in quality control, pre- and post-implementation projects of IT systems to assess results and provide recommendations,

This role is available in our offices in Gdańsk or Warsaw, with opportunities for overseas travel, subject to Client engagement.

Apply if you have:

University degree in Economics, IT, Finance, or related fields,

At least 5 years of experience in a similar position, including methodical approaches to managing Client projects, business development, software implementation and technology and business process solution design,

Proactive and driven attitude, combined with team orientation and readiness to learn and consult with experts and stakeholders,

Ability to quickly learn and self-reflect for a steep learning curve,

Knowledge of/proven ability to quickly grasp technical design or architecture,

Experience with one or more technology systems, being a functional team member in consulting, designing, and implementing application-based solutions,

Understanding of common issues facing Clients in the financial services industry (e.g., banking, insurance, investment management) will be a strong asset,

Familiarity with modern systems, platforms, information security, and controls frameworks,

Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Fluency in German is an advantage,

Ability to operate successfully in a multitasking environment,

Ability to navigate in a highly dynamic environment,

Strong presentation and communication skills at both interpersonal and cross-team levels.
