Senior Technology Manager – Mobile Services

a day in the life: what you’ll do

Lead development team(s) working to deliver lululemon’s mobile services. Responsible for ensuring the success of your teams shipping quality code. Partner closely with the product and program leaders helping manage project scope and ensure stakeholder expectations are managed and met. Use expertise building production systems in cloud-native environments where “automation” and “Infrastructure as Code” as guiding principles that guide your teams and partners toward best practices that allow progress to be made quickly and sustainably. Identify staffing needs and hire in qualified talent to fit the technical needs. Lead organizational growth strategies building a strong leadership bench. Lead the co-creation of the technical roadmap with technical, architectural, and business partners. Lead the co-creation of the application development roadmap with business and technical partners. Oversee the agile process and identify opportunities and coach to improve skills and process efficiency. Lead agile mobile services engineering team to deliver multiple high performing resilient, monitorable, performant and maintainable native iOS and Android apps, and services globally. Implement and evangelize continuous delivery with a focus on speed, risks, and fast end user feedback so that business requests can be delivered and measured against KPIs. Provide support with empathetic coaching, skills development, and career path leadership. 

 

100% telecommuting permitted – may live anywhere in the U.S.

 

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

 

qualifications

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field plus seven (7) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the IT industry.Must have 5 years of experience using cloud-based computing platforms, such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.Must have 5 years of experience maintaining cloud-based environments in a cost effective manner.Must have 5 years of experience managing projects and providing performance feedback to software professionals, including 3 years of experience directly managing people.Must have 3 years of experience establishing mobile services strategies and managing associated costs.Must have 3 years of experience working with native mobile applications (either iOS or Android) and mobile adjacent services.

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $251,576.00 - $271,576.00 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
