About the role
We are seeking a strategic and customer-centric Senior Product Portfolio Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in shaping our product and service offerings, ensuring they are aligned with customer needs and market trends.
You will play a key role in driving innovation, value creation, and digital transformation across our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Segmentation & Tailored Offering
Develop and maintain a robust customer segmentation framework. Ensure our product and service offerings are tailored to meet the specific needs of each segment, enhancing relevance and customer satisfaction. This includes the setup of a segmentation model, building on our current model, and operationalizing it to provide unique offers to different segments. You will be responsible to align offers with segment needs, building the appropriate value proposition and bringing it to market together with the respective product managers.
Portfolio Strategy & Value Proposition Management
Define and manage a clear, cohesive portfolio of products and services. Align offerings with a compelling value proposition that supports our strategic objectives and resonates with our target segments. This includes coaching your fellow product managers into a value proposition mindset and guiding the process to transform our current offerings into winning value propositions.
Digital Portal Strategy
Lead the strategy and execution of our digital portal, the cornerstone of our cloud-based solutions. Ensure the portal delivers a seamless, scalable, and value-driven experience for our customers.
Customer Co-Creation
Establish and own the co-creation process with customers. Facilitate collaborative innovation to ensure our solutions are continuously evolving in line with real-world needs and feedback.
Skills:
Conduct in-depth market and competitive analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, and customer success.
Utilize data and analytics to inform product strategy and prioritization.
Align product goals with broader business objectives and translate strategy into actionable plans.
Incorporate customer feedback into product development and portfolio evolution.
Lead complex projects and influence stakeholders across departments.
Communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
We are looking for someone who:
Combines an advanced academic background with over 10 years of professional experience, including several years in (software) product management roles.
Acts as a connector and collaborator and who is able to build bridges between internal stakeholders (Product Management, Sales, Marketing, IT, UX, Customer Service) and engages directly with clients to uncover pain points and needs.
Has a Customer-centric mindset, with a focus on improving the customer journey and delivering integrated solutions that go beyond current product silos.
Experienced in journey design and customer segmentation models, with a strong ability to map client needs and translate them into actionable insights.
Skilled in value proposition management, ensuring that product and service offerings are aligned with customer expectations and market opportunities.
Is fluent in Dutch, French and English
You are flexible to work one day per week from our offices in Mechelen, next to that you can work from our offices in Gent, Mechelen or Hasselt in combination with the flexibility to work from home (60%).
