The Role

Fidelity Investments has a Senior Analyst opening that represents an outstanding opportunity to accelerate an individual’s career in data and technology by driving the implementation of a privacy strategy at one of the top tier financial service companies in America. Provide oversight by actively managing multiple workstreams where Workplace data is utilized.Analyze instances of data loss and identify and manage enhancements across people, processes, and technologies to prevent reoccurrences.Advance the privacy strategy for Workplace Investing by positioning privacy as a market differentiator.Partner with Legal, Risk, Compliance, Architecture and Relationship Management to meet emerging data privacy requirements and customer demands.Assist in the implementation of privacy by design principles, data minimization strategies, and provide insights to enhance privacy features in system and application development.Support the program management and expansion of customer protection programs, including International Privacy and ISO27701 Privacy Information Management System certification.Implement and enhance privacy policy and controls to support ongoing initiatives including mitigation of privacy incidents, ISO27701 certification and alignment to customer expectations.Analyze and respond to Data Subject Access Requests.Measure and monitor effectiveness of privacy programs.Support other ad-hoc technology, privacy or data governance initiatives.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a technology-related field; or equivalent experienceExpertise in data privacy.  Knowledge of CPRA, GDPR, state privacy laws, and Privacy by Design. Professional privacy certifications or Information security certifications preferred (CIPP, CIPT, CISSP, CCSP, etc.)

You will be a member of the Data Enablement CoE within the Workplace Customer Protection Center of Excellence (CoE), reporting to Nate Kujawski.  The mission of the Customer Protection CoE is to protect the Workplace community of thousands of plan sponsors and millions of participants on our retirement and benefits platforms.

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
