About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Level 2 Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in testing technologies, particularly focusing on Windows Operating System and Microsoft Edge browser updates and changes. The candidate should possess a deep understanding of Windows OS, demonstrate excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and be adept at resolving issues within an enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Testing and Quality Assurance:
Develop, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for Windows OS and Microsoft Edge browser updates.
Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure software quality and reliability.Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.Collaborate with development and QA teams to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of updates.Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to Windows OS and Microsoft Edge in an enterprise environment.
Provide advanced support for Windows OS and Microsoft Edge browser, including updates, patches, and configuration changes.
Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
Technical Expertise:
Stay current with the latest developments, updates, and best practices in Windows OS and Microsoft Edge technologies.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides and knowledge base articles.
Work closely with IT teams to ensure seamless integration and compatibility of Windows OS and Microsoft Edge updates within the enterprise infrastructure.
Enterprise Environment:
Participate in the planning and execution of large-scale deployments and upgrades.
Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies and standards.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, specifically with Windows OS and Microsoft Edge.
Extensive knowledge of Windows OS architecture, features, and troubleshooting techniques.
Proficiency in using testing tools and frameworks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or similar.
Experience with automation testing tools and scripts.
Familiarity with enterprise IT environments and large-scale deployment strategies.
Experience with other web browsers and operating systems.
Experience:

Our Senior Technology Security, earns between $ 118,800.00-$178,200.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
