Automation Tester with 5+ years of experience in automation and API testing, responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, identifying defects, and ensuring comprehensive test coverage in an Agile environment. Skilled in using automation tools and frameworks to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
Your future duties and responsibilities:• Design, develop, document, and execute automated test scripts based on software requirements and technical specifications.
• Perform a combination of manual and automated functional, regression, system, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify, log, and track defects, collaborating with developers to resolve issues, while ensuring both manual and automated test coverage.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to ensure thorough test coverage, balancing between manual and automated testing.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Prepare detailed test reports, including results from both manual and automated tests, and provide feedback to the development team.
• Maintain test documentation, including manual and automated test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Ensure software releases meet quality standards and perform risk analysis for high-impact areas, optimizing both manual and automation efforts.
• Conduct performance testing through both manual methods and automation tools to validate software scalability and reliability.
• Utilize test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or HP ALM for test case management, defect tracking, and automation integration.
Technologies Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5+ years of experience in automation testing and API testing.
• Proficiency in developing and executing test cases.
• Strong understanding of various testing types: functional, regression, system, integration, UAT.
• Experience in defect lifecycle management and collaboration with development teams.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in Agile ceremonies.
• Ability to prepare detailed test documentation and reports.
• Strong analytical skills for risk analysis and performance testing.
• Proficiency in using test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or HP ALM.
