Job Description:
As a member of the Hardware Design Verification (HDV) team, responsibilities will include design and automation of RF test and measurement systems for testing and characterization of complex military communication/networking equipment. In addition, the position will include collaboration with other scientists, engineers, and management to analyze test data, generate visualizations, and create reports.
Essential Functions:
Design, develop, and debug software applications for control/automation of test and measurement equipment using NI LabVIEW and TestStandContinuous improvement of measurement algorithms, techniques and reporting to improve quality and reduce overall test timeConsult with electrical engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate measurement techniques and corresponding measurement data as they relate to operational performance requirements of new productsOrganize, analyze, and interpret large data sets from varying sources using automation where feasible. Develop reports from this data to represent and communicate product performance.Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to other engineers on the HDV teamPositive attitude, openness to new ideas, willingness to learn new tools.Qualifications:
