The Development team in FalCom is expanding, and you just could be the new Senior Test Engineer we're looking for!

FalCom is built on GN’s foundation as a global leader in intelligent audio solutions with Headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark. We create advanced hearing protection solutions enabling special operations, military, law enforcement, and security personnel to communicate in the most extreme environments – all while providing world-class hearing protection. 

From testing to evaluation of our products

The role is distinct in the sense that it combines both practical and strategic work. You have to see the bigger picture when you are looking at the requirements needed in our development process and how we meet them.

You will learn to manage and navigate different Mil-Std robustness- and environmental tests to ensure that our products, materials, and PCBA’s are fully functioning in very extreme environments.

Hopefully, you are interested in the prospect of planning out these test activities yourself and at the same time using our advanced lab facilities to conduct the tests. Some tests must be conducted by 3rd party test houses. We rely on you to keep the overview of what they need to do for us, and how and which equipment is required.

How you'll contribute to the team:

You will be responsible for the entire test and verification process, and you can look forward to:

Specify mechanical tests and write the test specifications

Conduct the tests autonomously

Collect data and write the test report

Evaluation of test results with the R&D team to ensure the products live up to the standards we must comply with

Collaborate with 3rd party test providers

From a team perspective, there will be close R&D colleagues in FalCom with whom you will share knowledge and in GN we have other sparring partners available for you on the test and verification topic.

Possible qualifications

We are open to a variety of backgrounds but hope that you bring:

A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical-, Electrical-, Biomedical- or multifaceted engineering

Experience with Test & Verification

Experience from the medical device industry or a company working with mechanical and electrical components would be beneficial
