We are seeking a Testing Partner with 4-5 years of hands-on experience in test case planning, design, execution, and managing traceability matrices to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate should have experience in testing workflows, particularly in file transfer systems, and automation using Selenium with Java. If you have experience working with managed file transfer products, particularly GoAnywhere, this will be a significant advantage.

The focus of this role is to ensure comprehensive testing across various file workflows, including file uploads, downloads, encryption, decryption, and security features. You will be responsible for automating all tests within our established automation framework, and ensuring both functional and non-functional requirements, such as security and performance, are rigorously validated.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
Test Case Planning & Design:

Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand file delivery requirements.
Design test cases for functional, non-functional (security, performance), and regression testing, ensuring all test scenarios are covered.
Develop and maintain a traceability matrix to track requirements through test execution.
Test Execution & Automation:

Execute manual and automated tests for file workflows, including file upload/download, encryption (PGP), anti-virus scanning, and performance.
Utilize Selenium with Java for test automation to ensure that all tests are automated and executed within the defined framework.
Validate test results and document defects with clear and detailed reporting.
Non-Functional Testing:

Perform security testing including PGP encryption, decryption, and validate security protocols for file transfers.
Conduct performance testing to validate the upload/download speeds and ensure optimal file delivery.
Collaboration & Reporting:

Work closely with the development, product, and operations teams to ensure that the testing aligns with product goals and requirements.
Provide regular updates on the testing progress and defects found.
Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives.
Continuous Improvement:

Identify and propose improvements to the test processes, test case designs, and test automation frameworks.
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in testing tools and technologies to enhance testing efficiency.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Experience:

4-5 years of experience in software testing with a focus on functional, non-functional, and regression testing.
Experience with managed file transfer products (preferably GoAnywhere) is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of creating and maintaining a traceability matrix for test coverage.
Proven experience with test automation using Selenium with Java.
Skills:

Strong expertise in manual and automated testing methodologies.
Experience with security testing including PGP encryption/decryption and anti-virus scanning.
Familiarity with performance testing techniques for file uploads/downloads.
Solid understanding of test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Quality Center, TestRail).
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must Have : Java ,selenium.BDD, Cucumber, Linux commands and basic Java Oops
