Senior Test Manager

Embark your transformative journey as Senior Test Manager for Global Pricing Tool a multi-year programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering changes by following Agile practices into the Global Pricing Tool application, ensuring the standards are adhered to and exceeded and that all project requirements are met. In addition, as a senior test manager they will be responsible for supporting and managing junior team members to ensure the continual growth of the team and identification and implementation of testing process improvements and innovations. The role is required to interact with various teams during test phases like Business, Product, Operations, Finance, Risk and Compliance to understand the requirements. The role is expected to interact with the application vendor to define and clarify the scope of testing that are captured.  The role is also expected to interact with various dependent application teams in the landscape. The role is expected to bring in clarity to the interactions between other systems and the pricing application. The role is responsible for managing the testing and drive multiple projects The role holder will drive continuous improvement, delivering initiatives to improve performance, processes and controls to support applications. Oversee, manage the designing and maintenance of test plans, test scenarios, test scripts, test data and test sets using various tools i.e. confluence, JIRA, Excel, Word. Evaluate automation options and expand automated testing framework. Collaborate with technology application owners to ensure that test environments and test data required to effect an efficient testing cycle are fully available.

To be successful as VP Senior Test Manager, you should have experience with:

Understanding of the BDD, Hands on experience in automation development and execution using Selenium and Cucumber.Core Java / C# Programming knowledge for automation.Extensive knowledge of Testing lifecycle and core testing process/techniques using different test approaches. Excellent knowledge in testing skills (provide estimations, design test plan and test strategy, writing test scenarios, cases, executing test cases, opening bugs, verifying bugs).API test automation, XML Verification etc. Understanding of NFT (Performance testing).  

Some other highly valued skills may include.

Project management.Extensive knowledge of Jira/XRay and Automation.

To design, develop, and execute testing strategies to validate functionality, performance, and user experience, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects, and continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, to ensure software quality and reliability.

Development and implementation of comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate software functionality and ensure compliance with established quality standards.Creation and execution automated test scripts, leveraging testing frameworks and tools to facilitate early detection of defects and quality issues.         .Collaboration with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements, participate in design discussions, and contribute to the development of acceptance criteria, ensuring a thorough understanding of the software being tested.Root cause analysis for identified defects, working closely with developers to provide detailed information and support defect resolution.Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations, and actively contribute to the organization's technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
