i3 is actively seeking a Senior Testing Engineer to support the UVC program in Huntsville, AL.

 

The qualified candidate will perform Senior Test Engineering activities related to the Uncrewed Vehicle Control (UVC) program and will provide technical leadership for test personnel in conduct of automated and manual testing efforts.

Responsibilities Conduct automated functional testing throughout the various development sprints to ensure product features and requirements are met in terms of performance, functionality, scalability, and end-to-end processing.Coordinates with the test team to run all automated test scripts for the application deployment activities into production environments.Create test plans and test procedure documentation. Responsible for overseeing the integration and/or test procedures, ensuring compatibility to meet program technical, schedule and cost objectives.Provide support and training to the test team as well as provide support for integration, field, and operational testing activities conducted with customer test representatives. Identify and report software testing discrepancies, assess their impacts, and make recommendations on potential workarounds and fixes to ensure requirement verification. Work closely with developers and/or stakeholders to gather requirements in order to create clearly defined, detailed automated test scripts.Provides an overall automation and integration strategy for the application or product lifecycle.Identifies and assists in procuring the appropriate set of tools for each stage of the development lifecycle.Creates and executes test automation scripts.Uses technical writing skills to clearly identify test objectives and results.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree required. Additional experience may substitute for degree. 12-17 years of relevant technical experience.UAS experience desired. Knowledge of automated testing scripting, execution, and reporting.Hands-on experience with automated test scripting using Selenium or a similar tool.Experience negotiating and ensuring compliance with oversight organizations (e.g., independent test or enterprise test organizations).Experience communicating testing strategies, plans, status, and results through presentations and in writing.Active Secret clearance and ability to maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.
