Senior Third Party Risk Program Analyst

Red Hat is looking for a Senior Third Party Risk Program Analyst to join us in Raleigh, NC or remotely in the U.S. In this role, you will collaboratively support global business units and risk partners in the delivery and expansion of our Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) program. Third Party Risk Management at Red Hat establishes and supports the framework for identifying, categorizing, monitoring, and mitigating risk associated with doing business with third party organizations. You’ll analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to identify and interpret trends, strengths and weaknesses. You’ll work with and support key stakeholders including business line, legal, information security, procurement, and risk and compliance throughout the TPRM process. As a Third Party Risk Program Analyst, you will work collaboratively with other global teams to ensure we manage program improvements, process efficiency, and assist in expanding the TRPM program into new business areas and functions.

What you will do:

Contribute to Red Hat’s expertise on third-party risk management by facilitating and partnering across the company

Ensure appropriate TPRM activities are completed on time and manage any risk exposures related to third-party service providers

Serve as a key point of contact supporting global risk partners and stakeholders engaging with the TPRM process using ServiceNow’s Vendor Risk Management (VRM) and other internal and external data sources

Collaborate with the ServiceNow team to define, test, and implement system enhancements, and to submit tickets or incidents for resolving identified system issues

Develop metrics and reports that ensure risks are identified, analyzed, reported, and controlled throughout the third-party life cycle to ensure compliance with policies and regulations

Assist in the production of ad-hoc reporting and analyses of the TPRM program producing visualizations of quantitative data as needed

Assist in the education of Red Hat associates on TPRM and their role in the process

Help evaluate, implement, and monitor ongoing third-party risk tools and services

Ensure the assessment and reassessment of high risk third parties occurs according to policy and guidance

Identify and propose opportunities to refine and expand the TPRM framework

Produce and maintain evidence TPRM processes are followed including work associated with yearly business controls or audit requirements

What you will bring:

3+ years of experience in a risk analyst role; TPRM is a big plus

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills

Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business management, or related humanities discipline

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills and ability to work on your own or collaboratively with a global team

Ability to work flexible working hours to support global audience

Proficiency in standard PC programs like Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Office

The following are considered a plus:

Third Party Risk Management experience

Understanding of information security, data privacy, business controls, and business continuity requirements

Knowledge of leading industry security standards, associated controls, and audit requirements for compliance

ServiceNow experience

The salary range for this position is $103,290.00 - $170,500.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
