Senior Time & Labor Specialist
**Job Summary** The Senior Time & Labor Specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for employees and program sites to submit timesheets. The post holder will be responsible for completing and finalizing processes necessary to calculate the gross pay and gross to net pay of all employees within their assigned pay groups (databases). **Principal Accountabilities** Responsible for keying Payroll timesheets and reviewing for accuracy. Responsible for processing payroll in different pay cycle (Weekly, Bi-Weekly & Monthly).Research employee complaints and / or pay discrepancies. Ensure employees are being paid correctly and reports are filed on a timely basis. Prepare off-cycle paychecks and reconciliations. Prepare payroll vouchers for payroll transactions. Keep supervisor/management aware of timesheet issues as they arise. Recommend actions to resolve timesheet discrepancies. Responsible for providing T&L training to the staff as and when required. Perform any other relevant duties as assigned to the position by senior management. **Knowledge & Skills** Knowledge of accounting systems and accounting principles. Extensive skill with using spreadsheet and data base applications. Effective decision making and problem solving. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments, work with little supervision, and work well under pressure. Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels throughout the organization **Experience & Education** Four (4) to six (6) years of experience in payroll processing environment. Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline preferred. **Physical Requirements/Working Environment** Typically works in normal office environment with controlled temperature and lighting conditions. **Travel** As per the requirement of Programs, the post holder may be requested from time to time to visit the relevant Program on site to offer training and support on T&L matters.
