Job Summary
The Senior Tool and Die Technician is a crucial member of Boyd Allenton’s Tooling team. The primary responsibility of this position is the preparation and maintenance of the die-cast tooling necessary for our manufacturing processes. The ability to work as a team and good communication skills are key components for success in this role.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on shot rods, high-pressure die-cast tooling, and trim dies. Complete shop paperwork accurately and as directed Support production needs by completing any necessary tooling or machining work in accordance with established company procedures Fix broken tools, mills, lathes, and grinders Make cores tips, fixtures, and slot rods Maintain a clean and orderly work area Must support and follow the QMS requirements Observe all Boyd safety and OSHA guidelines and procedures Perform other duties as assigned.
