We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology. This position is responsible directly and through subordinate managers to oversee all operations engineering activities at a third-party manufacturer. The position will ensure that products are manufactured consistently based on Abbott quality standards to meet market demands. The position will be accountable for a large installed base of advanced automation and the processes that support it at an Abbott TPM. **What You’ll Work On** + End to end oversight and ownership of all operations engineering activities for multiple product lines operating across multiple shifts at a third-party manufacturer. Accountable for the performance, output, and improvement activities on 25+ automated lines installed and operated by a third-party manufacturer. Anticipate and resolve highest level issues and conflicts that could impact operations success. + Accountable for end-to-end project management activities to ensure projects are executed on plan and budget. Develops and maintains solid relationships with all functions of a global organization and possesses the ability to resolve cross functional issues and appropriately influence these functions. + Hires and retains a diverse, highly qualified staff and provides ongoing performance feedback. Sets goals which align to department plans and manages the execution of goals through coaching and mentoring. Actively develops/upskills team to meet future business needs and retain talent. Responsible for long term succession planning of department. Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors. + Develop and implement short-term and long-term strategic plans to ensure systems are in place to meet business objectives. Develop, implement, train, and monitor systems and procedures to ensure compliance to FDA, GMP and all other applicable agency regulations. + Support the ongoing development of new and existing products, materials, and manufacturing processes to drive efficiency and cost effectiveness. Work cross functionally with R&D, Quality, Clinical, Regulatory and other departments as required to develop effective processes capable of meeting quality, cost and supply chain objectives. + Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements. Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. Ensure a safe work environment consistent with OSHA requirements and Abbott policies. **Required Qualifications** + B.S. Engineering, Science or a related field or Engineering, Science or a related field + M.S. The base pay for this position is $127,300.00 – $254,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
